1. Loving-Kindness for a Loved One
You’re a loving person to others, even if you hold yourself to a harsh standard. This meditation is designed to help you easily tap into that care, and practice loving-kindness to someone you love. You’re building a muscle that you will use for more loving self-compassion in the future.
2. Giving and Receiving Compassion
In this meditation, you continue to give compassion to someone who is struggling—they may not be someone you already know and love. You will also begin to turn that compassion towards yourself.
3. Self-Compassion for Positive Body Image
This is the final step of the series. If the way you think about, or speak about, your own body is causing you suffering, practicing this 10-minute meditation over time can soften the harsh edges.
