Most people struggle with body image at some point in their lives. Our relationships with our bodies are shaped by personal experiences, family messages, culture, and the many transitions we move through over time. Within a Health at Every Size (HAES)–aligned framework, I believe that all bodies deserve respect, care, and compassionate support, and that health is not defined by weight or appearance.

My Journey

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating, as well as those navigating body image concerns. In therapy, I help clients identify body- and food-related thoughts and beliefs, explore where these messages originated, and gently challenge patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we work toward developing a more accepting, supportive inner voice and a more peaceful relationship with food and the body.

I also work with women navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy, and the emotional complexities that often accompany these journeys. These experiences can bring up grief, anxiety, loss of control, identity shifts, and significant body changes. Therapy can offer a supportive space to process these transitions without judgment, pressure, or expectations about how one “should” feel.

My Approach

My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered, and narrative frameworks through a HAES-informed and weight-inclusive lens. I believe clients are the experts on their own lived experiences, and I strive to create a safe, caring, and collaborative environment where we work together to examine unhelpful thought patterns, reconnect with personal values, and rewrite narratives that foster self-compassion, resilience, and empowerment.

Online Therapy

I frequently work with clients who are on the go and value the flexibility of telehealth. Offering online therapy allows clients to prioritize their mental health and recovery while balancing busy schedules, life transitions, and evolving responsibilities.
